This is a great mod. Could it be that it does not effect battle replays? On the replays, it seems that the blood is the same as the DLC unmodded.

Bit confused by the installation description above. If I just subscribe to the mod and do nothing else, it will only lessen the amount of blood on units, is that correct?

is there any way to disable blood decals on ground from arrows? They are just too ridiculous. So that it could also be used with warhammer 2.

I see it as outdated, but it's in the launcher. Don't know why it does this.

yes, I'm using it. It doesn't need update. Just make sure you follow how to properly install it.

@Belisar (a really late response :) )or whoever else has the same issue, here is what you can do.
You can unsuscribe and simply keep the .pack file you downloaded.
Alternatively you could just merge it with something else OR simply you could create your own mod version that contains the same stuff.
To do all the above after the "Alternative" you will need ofcourse the package manager. Google it or go to total war center and you will find it.

Trias10 as the description clearly says:

Subscribe only = reduces the amount of blood on UNITS

Subscribe and Download = Reduces blood on units, blood squirting when something hits the units
AND makes blood on the floor different and semi-permanent

Subscribed, then downloaded the .pack file from google drive and put it into my data folder, replacing the original file. Also made it "read only," however now the mod stays in a state of constantly being updated....Anyhelp? I read through this comment section and it doesn't seem like anybody ever solved this issue.

I'm not sure I understand the difference between just subscribing to this mod, and subscribing + downloading the file into data/ (and marking it read-only)? What exactly does downloading the file add which just subscribing does not?

Absolutely wrong, you need to apologize to logybearskin - this additional File here can be used for Warhammer 2, too.

Hey, am I assuming correctly that the google-drive file is a movie-type .pack? If so, why don't you simply rename it? That would be far easier than overwriting the workshop file and then making the google-drive one read-only and it would prevent the mod-loader from endlessly attempting and failing to overwrite the protected file.

It's not a load-order issue. The thing is, .packs that show up in the mod-launcher have their vfx-folder-files disregarded. I've tested this several times. Only .packs that don't show up, although I don't know why they don't, have working files of this kind. Probably has something to do with them being "movie-type" .pack-files, as DrKing stated for his mod, although I'm not sure what this means :D

@MattoFrank, "huh". ohhh. just rename the @less blood@ pack: mods with higher names (alphabetically) TWW will load first.

Working again. Also, I found out the weirdest thing: I've got my own effects mod, which doesn't show up in the mod manager - I always assumed because it consists only of vfx files (.xml). When I integrate your vfx files into it, your reduced blood gouts take effect. When I separate only your vfx files into a single .pack, it suddenly shows up in the mod manager and the effects don't show up. HUH?!

I am also using the steam version only. Something must have gone wrong on my end, good to hear.

I think the mod just became disfunctional with the new strange warning they introduced. Radious and my mod still work just fine, but all of a sudden, everyone is caked in blood again -.-

hey. guys, if you got some problems, do not download an additional file, and do not mark it read-only. delete it from your data folder, unsubsribe from worksop (not from your launcher), then resubscribe. I`m playing with the steam file only, and have no problems (with any mods).

I played with this mod before but i had to uninstall all my mods, no prob to take them back but this one never complete the dl, no matter if i unsubscribe, reboot pc/launcher maybe the workshop link is dead?
