I played with this one years ago & tried others over time... This is probably on of the greater ones I've ever seen... The hills/mountains add a nice separation/aesthetic tunnel way... I like the Island without outside connections... Just playing it again.. Nice Map

@Ole: Thanks for the quick reply. I may give that a shot. I tried using the TerrainTextureReplacer by Roenzi, but it kept giving me errors. I'll try using the one from Holy Crab and see if that works. Thanks again for getting back to me so quickly and for the map.

@skystring This map has had a lot of problems with map themes and I never figured out how to fix it. Maybe you can try opening it in the map editor, exporting the height map and use that to choose your own map theme? About the location of the map themes, I don't know much about that, sorry

Can't get the map themes to load, and the TerrainTextureReplacer shows an error on startup. Would really like to try this map with the textures meant for it. Wasn't able to get ANY map theme to work with this map, where I can on other maps with associated themes. What type map theme is this map supposed to use? Beautiful map, wish I could use it with the textures meant to work with it. WIll try the Highway version next.

Also, what are the directory paths that these map themes are in? My path under

C>users>me>AppData>Local>Colossal ORder>Cities_Skylines>Addons>Map Themes

shows no themes in map themes folder. I did see one with a numerical name located in

E>Steam>SteamApps>workshop>content>255710>

I have a numerical named file folder under this which is empty, and a couple folders with two other themes I have D/L'd. Anyone know the name of the file folder which this theme is supposed to be under? and what the file is named and the size of it? Any help appreciated.

@LMAO tse dong thanx for sharing that info, I have no idea what causes these issues.

@Ole I figured out how to fix the theme, which is done by first loading the map with a default theme, making a save file, then loading that save file, but with Environment Changer (+ Improved Theme Selection) on and your custom theme selected.

That does not fix your "EMP blackouts" at nights, however, as this occurs even without the custom theme. Seems to be an issue with the map itself.

If the map theme doesn't work: Download the terraintexturereplacer mod and follow it's installation instructions. Add these textures to it's folder: http://imgur.com/a/a59lc

Also, how do you fix the nighttime blackness?

Map theme is definitely broken. Looks nothing like the images.

This map is borked, also with another theme / LUT is became black suddenly.
It was okay at first, but after 2 hours all lights were switched off...

@fflip8 There's a version of the map with highway connections, you need to use that one if you want to play and unlock as you go along. Find it in his workshop page.

big problem. How do I get a population? I have houses all over with a population of 0, and I can't get a dock because I need people for a dock.

Vehicles and pedes. moves way too fast, is there a way to slow them down except slow down mode? Amazing Map anyways.

@vcasilva4 The island is bigger than the standard 25 tiles, so to use the whole island you need the 81 tiles mod

@Ole thanks. I unsubscribed and resubscribed a bunch of times and now its working. This map is amazing!! I love it. Plus the challence of managing the city by harbours only is so strategic.

It looks great! Unfortunately it gets completely dark during the night. Is it meant do be like this? I also got the "Missing Map Theme" Error and both tried running it with the default map theme and @Deez Nux Method, but both resulted in completely black nights. Someone faced this problem?

Since trying Rexxyboys method of getting it to work didn't succeed for me I found a bit of a workaround. The link at the bottom is a theme selector mod, so you can choose a different one while Ole gets the one for this map sorted out.

Update: I renamed the Sint_Maarteen map theme file (Guessing it was supposed to be called "Saint_Martin" ) to Saint Martin.crp and copied them from the workshop\content folder into my Map Themes folder. After a restart it would no longer give me the missing theme error.

Seems to work now. I copied some other themes in there too which would not work and they too work now, so hopefully this helps others like me who've had issues loading themes.

The theme will no load for me. Yes i did subscribe to tress and theme, re-started, and select the theme on new game, but i get an missing theme error. Your '.crp' file spelling for the theme was different than the map, even after changing that, still would not load. Such a shame as the map looks really bad without the theme, and i'd love to build on this!! Great work anyway, nice map.

@Cjless1991: You need to subscribe to my tree collection which is mentioned above. The map theme is a problem some people have and I can't fix that.
@redigunnarerickson: this is the map version without highways, as mentioned in the description I've also uploaded a version with a highway connection.

Following this. I subscribed and the map will not load themes. And it loads with a blank canvas (no trees etc, but landscape intact). I'd really like to experience Saint Martin properly :)
