A year or two back I found an F35B mod where - via script - I could force the AI pilot to use STOVL to land on a carrier. Does this mod have some script command to force this landing method or does it do this by default? Still trying to find the mod.

Does anyone have arma3 aircraft mod making tutorials to share with us?

TL;DR have not tried it, but some general recommendations for A3 VTOL vics in general. Try the VTOL mod as well. Separates the vectoring from the flaps control surfaces, which, I think, is REQUIRED READING, for any of them. Makes it possible to stabilize the (S)VTOL aspects quite well. Use that all the time in the Project Lightning variant, which has its own issues (*ahem* pylons, to be fair), but still, besides that, quite stable vehicle to operate. Does this one support FIREWILL weapons pods? Do not see anything equipped on the image, just for instance.

Buffnav67 is right about one thing.... The glare makes it so undesirerable. Unlike most of these mods out there this is the only vtol bird i can get straight off the ground from a stand still but the glare gives me a headache :-(

honestly good plane, only issue is the insane amount of glare that makes it imosible to see out of the cockpit

Scratch the previous message. If you prefer the model in the thumbnail. Download PlayWithSIX on ARMAHOLIC's website (since the former website is now permanently shutdown), skip the error message after DL, then update the launcher. Search F-35B by Chortles, change version from v1.1 to v1.0 and install. You now have yourself a more stealth model f-35b (lwithout underfuselage gun and the six underwing pylons).

I like the F35B in the thumbnail because it has a more stealth design. Perhaps can you post a V1.0 download or update and add a 4th model in addition to the CAS/AA/LGB aircraft.

how do i get the f35 as seen in thumbnail? the ones i get have weapons armaments visible under the wings.

Mehbob ferreyra ACTUALLY only ONE variant of the F-35 (the F-35C?) has VTOL capabilites. I also see you've never tried standing on one leg before, becasue the loss of a wing would DEFINITELY throw off the weight of the aircraft

please make it like arma 2s were it can switch between hover and forward because its really annoying to only be able to lift off in hover all the time. but i love the mod tho :)
