Well if it took me only 30-60 mins THIS time, maybe next won't be at all. It may be that somehow it's being oversensitive and a slight raise or depression in the ground is being exsagerated. It could be my settings or even just an problem with the download, we don't know. I like it enough not to care-except when it takes hours and I still can't use it. If it wasn't for the floor problem, I never would have of mentioned it. I wasn't camplaining, just thought I'd see if it was normal. I'm the kind of person soothed by digging\mining\building so it was not really annoying.

It still shouldnt be doing that. I wish someone else who is subbed to this would leave a comment on if it is happening to them as well. I'm sorry you had to dig it out for hours, really sucks

I started a new game and spawned it by using the creative menu in survival to get the resources, just to see. I MADE SURE it was on flat ground and before looking at this comment did just that-made sure the outline barely touched the ground. The rest was relatively the same, but to lesser extent. Where before it sunk so deep I could only see the sloped ceiling, taking me hours to dig out-only to end up with-as I said-the floor earth; this time only one side slightly suck down. This left me digging out one side which was covering the walkway around past the fence line (the hangar side)-fortunately inside was easy, it took me maybe 20 mins to clear the bits and was NOT more than two to three blocks high. The end result, I had the base I wanted within about 30-60 mins. Hardly bad compared to before. Anyway, I'm satisfied.

I just spawned it to make sure I didn't add extra blocks under the base. It spawned perfectly for me. Look up a bit to the sky until the outline is barely touching the ground, should spawn in right. Take it to creative first and try. I would hate to have you lose all the materials in survival again if it sinks in. :)

I had to use an cheat and dig it out, but for some reason the floor was dirt, I think there was earth in the floor meaning I can't use it, so I started a new game. I haven't tried to place it again (haven't reached that stage yet) but other than that I LOVE this base!! I REALLY want to use it so I'll try again.

Hmm that's odd. I'll have to check it when I get home.

This sunk into the ground when I placed it, despite the flat terrain.
