At this point, all I can recommend is running the FactoryReset-GMod.bat batch script in GMod's root folder.
That's a pretty nuclear option though, you'll lose all your settings and configuration - but it guarantees that you'll have a fresh install.
Your subscribed add-ons will be kept!

that is correct i did disable all and only had the base with the 4 parts of cso, even im confused

And just double-checking, you disabled every single add-on , including stuff that aren't weapons (vehicles, tools, abilities), before testing again?

i am on the x64 branch, i did restart each time, and it happens on flat grass, computer specs, 64gb 3200 ddr4, 2080ti, i7 10700k, playing on nvme

Unfortunately an error like that isn't very useful, as that could mean many things.

Are you playing in the x86-64 branch?
Did you restart GMod after disabling everything but TFA Base, and all four TFA CSO parts?
Does this happen in gm_construct or gm_flatgrass?
And lastly, what are your computer specs?

so i was trying to play any map on sandbox, i have arc9 and tfa base with some weapons for each base, i got CUtlRBTree Overflow everytime i started a map barely loading the world, i disabled every addon and base only enabling tfa base and the CSO parts 1,2,3,4 and it would give the error only with them on crashing the game each time, im unsure why when it wasnt doing it before.

Can you add Chinese annotation on the base of new gun add in next update?I am a enthusiast of CSO currently and used your mod 3 years,I found some are easy to understard for gun but it also some are difficult.I would love it although this problem before words,and hope you and your other author let do it better than this time afterwards.

Small question is the units used to determine melee range is that in Hammer Units? Just curious because later in the score sheet when I do my final pass I want to convert that to meters.

Can reproduce, it involves holding primary attack after using secondary attack
No ETA on a potential fix! In the meantime, simply don't shoot right after using secondary attack

Any lua errors? What did you do to cause the crash?
Did you test with no other mods enabled?
What branch are you playing on?
Are you using an autoexec config?
Did you change your dxlevel?
I need more info to help, because TFA CSO isn't crashing for anyone else.

oof, and i still have'nt fixed the sound issue. anyways, last question, not regarding my pack but yours, how do i make any of the cso guns not look like they have been slathered in wet butter?

Yeah, as long as you edit it to prevent all conflicts - there shouldn't be any shared files between our upload and your upload.
You'll need to recompile models to use different names and texture directories, and change the names of your weapon's lua files

I know it's a lot, and I'm sorry! But it's necessary. Back then, we've gotten dozens of bug reports because someone took our stuff and used it without removing conflicts, causing all kinds of issues when it's not our fault

find the lua files that add its sounds and add it to your sound lua
you can search the entire project for its sound events - try searching for the firing sound

and please don't upload what you're making publicly. upload it as unlisted instead; it'll work perfectly fine for servers, workshopdl, and friends can subscribe to it

Hi, I am trying to make a small 4 - weapon pack consisting of the dbarrel, sten, 1911, and the mosin. and i need help figuring out why the mosins sounds wont play.
what i did was move the mosin files from pack #2 to pack #1 where the dbarrel, 1911, and sten were. what should i do to make the mosin sounds work?

Hello so this is gonna be an odd question, but I am working on a spreadsheet based on the stats in the code and then assigning a score to the weapons in the pack, now what I am curious is what determines the "range" of melee weapons? I do this to help assign prices for gamemodes like Horde or Map Sweepers.

For some reason, one of the weapons causes a “cutlrbtree overflow” error in my game.

Damage configuration already exists, check the latest change notes for info.
It got added March the 29th.

Developers, why did you change the weapon damage so much? If it was to allow players to play PvP peacefully, then fine. And could you then make some kind of damage configuration IF THIS IS POSSIBLE AND IN YOUR PLANS (I really liked the old damage of several thousand). If you were asked this question before, then I apologize, and if it is not in your plans, then fine and dandy (I appreciated the new guns - they are FIRE!)
