Actually mate, 2010 world cup, we went out because of the stupid referees who didn't see Lampards goal go in when we were 2-1 down. If that went in, things would've been different so we didn't blame Capello. 2012 Euro's we didn't do too bad, Capello didn't get blamed because we came up against a good Italy side and we put up a fight. 2014 world cup we did horrendous and blamed the players and Roy for not turning up and we blame Roy AND the players for these Euros because we did terrible again. 2 out of the last 4 major tournaments the manager had been blamed so you're wrong when you say the manager has been blamed every single time.

I think given England have failed continuously at tournaments for a long time given the fact they are supposed to have World Class players, someone has to start thinking it can't just be the manager's fault. Every single time I can remember the manager has been blamed when a tournament has failed. Even by law of averages they can't all have been terrible managers and to be honest their CVs suggest that they are actually very good managers in some cases. The fact is the players in England are not good enough and haven't been for a very long time. Yes Rooney has the record goalscoring record but look how many more games it took him than Lineker and Charlton and also worth pointing out they did not play against the likes of San Marino and Andorra during qualifying as the Home Nations Championship was the qualifying group for a part of that history. Harder opponents.

I think I understand England...they always go out because of poor management but the likes of Germany always have amazing managers! Players lost the match not the manager..you would never have seen a performance like that from the likes of the Euro 96 squad.
