Yeah I renamed all of the model files, included the materials folder. I even tried editing the .vmt to make it use the proper .vtf files, but I always end up with an invisible model in game.

Why would you need to fix weapon animations when this should be only a model replacing the cobra sight. Anyway you know what, let's just see how it looks replacing the cobra sight. I'd do it myself, but every time I want to swap a model (like I tried using the Elcan scope on the PO 4x scope) the model appears invisible.

What do you mean? If you replace the cobra sight the eotech will be larger / smaller? Do you think a model edit could fix that?
