CivyVortac; I'm new to Kubuntu and Steam-in-Kubuntu; where is the mod cache located?

GUYS I FIGURED IT OUT! Reinstall the game, delete the mod cache, check on this mod and load a game, then go back and check on IGE.

Like everyone else - I'm baffled as to how to actually use this... I've tried launching the Civ 5 SDK world builder and i just get a black screen. There is no option to launch it in game that I can see...
