Someone did mention a while back their intention to port over my weapon mods but I haven't heard from them in a while.
@ProXz
It's on my list of things to do. Unfortunately I have a very long list of things to do.
First check the Aliens Hunters DLC XComGame Data file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\DLC\DLC_2\Config\XComGameData
The console command, in game, for the weapon is:
additem AssaultRifle_Central.
The stats on the weapon are 5-7 damage and a clip size of 4.
If you then go into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Config\DefaultGameData_WeaponData
You can scroll down and see the weapon damage data on the rifle.
The original damage of the weapon is set at 5 but I've set it at 9 and increased the crit from 2 to 3.
If you include the multipurpose combat rifle in the upgrade weapon slots mod, you can have an 'all singing and dancing' alien wrecking weapon.
+SlotConfig = (TemplateName=AssaultRifle_Central, NumUpgradeSlots=5)
You can't.
The only reason the weapons added via the mod have different stats are if you yourself changed them.
I had started my X-com 2 adventure a little bit late, and went straight for the WOTC (finished vanilla maybe 2 times prior to that), and haven't used any mods back then. Now when i look at those carbines i am stunned.
Hope you enjoy the expansion! Now im thinking of going back to vanilla only to play the campaign with them as main weapons!
Keep up the astonishing work in the workshop as it is a top notch - a quality on it's own, and encourages people to mod, code and work on more x-com projects!
It would be possible for you to gather all the weapons in one file ("Sawed-off Shotgun - Standalone, Combat Shotgun - Standalone, Salvaged Cannon - Standalone, Multipurpose Combat Rifles - Standalone, Carbines - Standalone, Magnetic Carbines - Dependent"). Make it easier to use these weapons? Thank you!
Can you upload this stand-alone mod along with "magnetic carbines" to nexus mods, excellent mod btw.
(althou I wish I knew how I could modify item slots for XCOM 1 guns and Long War Lasers. Trying to insert number but it's not working ;/)
