Ok, but what about if I suddenly changed to a diffrent computer and a different resolution? Would this mod be simply canceled out?

Addons are dead for versus games, but they don't understand that their game is goddamn broken and people need mods like this to fix it, thanks dude.

I assume these weapon mods come with their own scope overlay files?

The only way to fix those would be to manually edit the scope texture files for the weapon mods themselves.

1440x900 doesn't have problems rendering the default scope. So no you won't need this mod.

This scope and any other scope mod labeled with the "OVSF" is specifically made for players that naturally experience the oval scope bug.
