First civ 5 modification

This is a pretty simple and usefull mod, thanks. I still seem to suffer from OMT though ):

For those that wish to change the clock to a 24hr clock, just edit the Example_SimpleClockAddin.lua, so it is:

local t = os.date("%H:%M");

instead of

local t = os.date("%I:%M");

You can also edit the placement of the clock by editing the Example_SimpleClockAddin.xml
Look for the part that has Offset="0,20" . If you change it to Offset="0,30" , it will be placed just below the top bar.

And if you really want to get fancy, you can also edit the color of the font.

Works very well. But, it would be amazing, if i could choose between american Clock (12h) and european Clock (24h).

was the mod the first mod for civ V?

This cool mod would be improved if you moved it from center to the right so as not to visually interfer with the resource icons.

ner0417 How about putting it in its own bar, below? Then the clock wouldn't have to move at all.

Once I reached the later stages of the game, the clock was underneath my strategic resources (coal and aluminum). It would be nice if you could scale the clock so that it would slide over toward the right side instead of becoming illegible.

It'd be more convenient if it had a countdown function. Set it for 3 hours and 3 hours later it goes of and tells me to save and quit and get the fuck to work cuz i'm lazy. The clock works just aswell though.

@GuyFawkesNews No sh*t! Really? Are you a computer wizard or something? Anyways, thanks, now i can get rid of this simple solution and keep track of time during my game by tabbing once every few minutes, wich doesn't seem annoying at all! Thanks a lot mate

Needs some work, but it would be amazing if there was possibly an alarm function attached to it and the clock was placed somewhere a little easier to see.

Starting the game is quite useful, but after discovering some resources you almost can't see the clock

Seriously though, thanks. I remember this option in civ 4. I always felt like civ 5 was missing a few of those details.

So useful for nights when I should be studying for finals but play Civ, and dont like to be truant.

This is absolutely fantastic. Thank you for making this! Although, since I'm European, I was wondering; would it be possible to make a clock that showed 24H instead of the current 12H? (ie. 10.23 = 22.23)

My favourite mod so far, ever :) It's simple but does exactly what you want it to do!

It doesn't work for me, either. I subscribed, went into the mods in the game, enabled it, and I don't see a clock anywhere.
