I cant use the cooking pot in the stove! I can put it in there but I cant put any berries in to make anything!

Sadly, used to love this mod, but now I can't get it to work for me anymore...

Nice! I really like the idea of a mod allowing us to can and preserve food.

I realize that this is an old mod and how it is very likely abandoned. But if an update is ever considered, it would be nice if Salt was updated to be in-line with the Salt that was later introduced in vanilla.

Primitive+ DLC added Salt, which is also created from Crystal. However, Primitive+ gives players 15 Salt for 1 Crystal (instead of 10).

Also, Scorched Earth introduced "Raw Salt", which is mainly harvested from salt deposits which exist in the forms of dinosaur bones as well as salt pillars. Though, it can also be obtained from smaller fossils on the ground or from salt pillars on Extinction as well as from certain Gachas. This Raw Salt is then used to craft "Preserving Salt".

@SaiyanEnrique . I never use the Can opener. You either have to have the mouse cursor over it and press E or go in your crafting and double click on the engram to have the can open.

Is the can opener supposed to be single use? I can only get an opener to work on one can and then it stops working, but I can "Use" it from my inventory and it just disappears.

The last update on this mod was 2017, I wouldn't expect it to work or be updated.

This was made before the game had salt XD been a really good mod, was looking to speak with the dev for an update possibly?

why not use the game default salt?

animal first aid kits works, if you are riding your pet and having the first aid kit in your hotbar slot, and use it from there.

you need to learn the engram for jerky, than you can simple check your crafting inventory list for that jerky engram and use it. that way your bag will get opened up and you get 30 beaf jerky into your inventory.

How does the bagged jerky work? I cannot seem to use it once it is made.

How do the animal first aid kits work? Placing them in the injured animal's inventory does not allow them to be consumed.

Great mod but it is not possible to preserve raw fish. Every time I try it will be raw meat? Would be nice if that is fixed.

Can this item be placed aboard boats?

Are we able to remove engrams/disable the "super narc" and "narco blast" components, arrows and darts from this mod yet?

Useing your mod but the leech blood and cactus sap are not auto caning like all the othe resources. Could this being caused because there being dropped by a beacon mod? Or do I need something else besides salt and cans?

Just want you to know how great I think this mod is. I have also not found a stacker mod that allows the iguanodon to seed correctly.

The igaunadon Doesn't work when you have a stackign mod unfortunatley.

To turn Berries into Seeds just use the Iguanodon ;)

Animal first aid kit doesen't work, but super veggie cake works very well on both carnivores and herbivores..
btw i have a question, is it possible to can raw mutton?

I've been having the same issue as Raven for a few weeks on my server. When the Element crafting was first added it crafted 15 at a time instead of the noted 10 ,but now it's only making 1 at a time.

I hope this mod is still active. We noticed a few problems pop up on the last update. Elements say they are 10X but only make one. Canned lambchops also gives canned prime meat at the same time (not that we mind but it seems a bit generous lol). Can't make some of the soups and the bookshelf doesn't hold recipes anymore.

I'm having an issue putting down the canning bench. I can't place it no matter what surface I try it on. D: Can anyone help?

I love this mod. It is my favorite out of ALL of them. Everytime I try to play on a server that doesn't have it, I just can't lol. Thanks so much for making it!

Just a question, before 256, when crafting element, each time we crafted, it would create 10 element per craft. Now it only crafts 1. Was this an intended change or did the new UI screw things up? Thanks!

When I try to can cooked meat jerky, it only returns Canned Cook Meat, not jerky. Anyone else having this issue?

@Drinkbeer 3:16 The recipes for soups are the same as vanilla so Ark wiki will be your friend :) Super Cake is 5 canned cake to craft them

where can i find recipes for making soups and super vegetable cake?
