@ion sorry i just had to verify game files, there was a lot of modded chinese servers and ig playing on em messed up my vocalizer lines... prolly had a vocalizer fatigue plugin or smtg.. my b for the trouble.

@Yuugenmagen: That happens when you use Beel's Talker together with my vocalizer, it's noted on the talker's Workshop page.

For some reason any campaign map crashes back to the main menu right when the map loads with this mod enabled. I don't have any conflicts or alot of mods. Am I missing something?

@Versecta: Many lines are not available in Scavenge and Survival, so try them in Campaign or Realism. There were no talker updates from Valve for a very long time and probably won't be any more.

I'm not sure why, but in many campaign, the character specific along with many other add-on voices won't respond.

Hey my game occasionally does this thing where it reinstalls my add ons but this time when it reinstalled I couldn't use the vocalizer and can't see it in the options menu. I've re-subscribed and re opened my game but it won't work anymore. I don't suppose you have any ideas on how I can fix?

@Ｊａｋｉｙ: The code is "vocalize SurvivorLeavingInitialCheckpoint". It's the very same trigger as leaving the initial safe room. Works good for L4D1 survivors, but it's not perfect for L4D2 survivors. I strongly suggest using my vocalizer instead because I've made the cooldown override in a different way.

@Ellis: This add-on is over 9 years old now and it's basically in final form. I have no plans on adding more things. If Valve updates L4D2 and changes official talker, I would most likely make vocalizer changes according to that. But otherwise no.

Do you still remember what code you said previously to bypass the vocalizer cooldown? It's fine if you don't want to make public but just let me know what that code is. I need it for my own use. Somehow I still get a bit of delay even on my own server.

So I did some research. Every character does have elevator lines. if it's possible could I edit the vocalizer to add it onto the same menu as the "helicopter,wheels,boat"?

Oh I was under the impression everyone has elevator lines. I could access them on vox's vocalizer if I remember correctly. But thank you for the quick reply.

@Zexxy: There are "Elevator" lines which can be also used by other survivors from the same character set -- in Coach's Character-specific 4, in Louis' Character-specific 7, and in Bill's Character-specific 4. Zoey doesn't have voice lines for the elevator.

Anyone know where Nicks/Ellis'/Zoeys'/Francis' or Rochelle's elevator line is? The "Get to the elevator!" or "Elevators here!" every other character has it. Is there any way for me to modify it and give the elevator line to them?

@春人: Every L4D2 survivor has "Virgil" line in its Character-specific 1 menu with several voice lines there. If you have some different, unusual responses here, it means you're playing on a server with modified talker installed.

Rarely, my Character-specific 1 contains VIRGIL, similar to Eills shouting HI, VIRGIL. The same goes for Rochelle, like the parish opening in the official map. But most of the time there is no voice of VIRGIL in Character-specific 1, and I am curious about what the reason is

@low: You can use stories as many times you like, but you can't start a new story if another story is already being told (spamming prevention). Stories are "limited use" line which means my vocalizer has to be installed on hosting server to make them work. The easiest way is to start single player game or host a local server game.
