Haha yes, it was the first ever skin pack and some textures have been moved since, it’s not really priority for me as most of the skins are available in other mods I’ve made, it turned into a kind of dumping ground for all the skins, unfortunately the changes the devs made to the Ai selection means we no longer have a random pool, same cars same position,l everytime, unless we make custom Ai sets.
I may do something with it one day but it’s a lot of work and I’m busy making another.

I can give it a go now that I’m back, a couple of cars textures have moved so they’ll need repainting, also there was only a handful of cars in game when I made it, but there was a lot of skins, almost every skin design I made can be found in pheonix invasion mod, nascar and ASSR mods, but they are only painted onto rammers and Roadslayers.
Rallycross experience had a few too but it’s dead.

I used to use this mod all the time. I miss it. lol I did read the below comment, Vin. Just wish there was a way it could be reimplemented.

Hello? Your mod broke the tile showing the Roadslayer GT. It is permantely stuck on that paint skin you included.

Sorry I think this was the first ever workshop skin pack, long gone I'm afraid, most skins have been used in other side projects, it was my dumping ground for all skins I made.

Yes the damn duplicates!!! Cant believe they still exist in released game lol, also still no simple option to choose all USA cars or minis only etc.
It's why I began modifying my own game which later on became the many mods ive created.

@Vin Petrol, don't feel obliged in any way. I noticed you said you'd only just received your first donation, which reminded me how much I appreciated this mod when I first played the game a few years ago. So it's kind of a back-payment :D

Having just picked the game back up again I'm impressed at how much the developers have improved the car variation (although they still sometimes have duplicates, agh! and the duplicate decals and numbers still annoy me, lol). I'm playing the base career-mode again (which is quite different to when I last played the game), then I'm looking forward to doing some custom races a switching this mod and some of the track-pack mods back on.

I love doing short ovals and 8's with your banger skins!

Just dropped you a donation for this. I haven't played the game in ages but back when I did this skin mod massively improved the game for me and I played it loads. Going to have another go at Wreckfest after all this time and see what it's like these days. Many thanks for all your work on these great skins!

Also this mod hasn't been touched for years, my version is corrupt and there is lots of texture needs moving and probably some file structures too, saying that most people seem to still really enjoy it, perhaps try the mod with no other car /skin mods active if it's not functioning.

I am tempted to make a Disney pack as the current one seems to have vanished, it's on the list if it doesn't show up, will be fun and popular I'm sure, im just really busy, we want to put nascar skins on the new nascar model first as I have been asked by author, so it won't be for a while.

I am a huge fan of what you have done here. I would absolutely pay BUGBEAR to offer this as DLC along with skins for more cars, V8 engine sounds, and the classic tire pack. I would say the skins are good-ish while sitting still, but during a race, while in peripheral, they are awesome. It adds to the experience immensely. As DLC they do not effect people who do not yet have the DLC and I can only imagine the amount of time spent working on this. I would strongly urge you to contact BUGBEAR and pitch this idea. I highly doubt that there is only a handful of people wanting this. The only reason I say that I would pay BUGBEAR is because I want to see these in multiplayer. Great work so far.

Also the mod is extremely outdated, but as its a player only skin mod it still functions, however i would expect some gltches regarding maybe reflective layers and texture locations being changed on some cars since this wa last updated, so that could also be a factor.

No it's not your end, some of the skins are lower texture than others as they were all painted by hand with only windows paint, where some logos have been enlarged after being drawn appear more pixelated.

i will try to visit this mod again sometime as ive got hundreds more to go in, plus the mod needs some fixes as developers moved some car textures around on some vehicles.

Thanks, Yes many months of work, it is next I believe after NASCAR and DD1 which will both be polpolished off tomorrow hopefully.
My only concern with this mod is the euro 1 car, they moved textures dramatically months ago, we'll have to see :)

Still hoping for an update eventually, no rush tho. This is personally my favorite skin mod
