I don't see what the mod adds ...

how do i enable this mod

The damage is obviously not missed as the game has realistic mode now.
But what about the dust?
A new mod has been made that brings back the longer bigger dust effects.

I don't think it works at all, if so only for the cars that were in the game back then, this mod was from way back when we had only one damage option and minimal dust effects, its now obsolete pretty much

Not saying it's too hard. It's not at all. Not complaining either. I'm pretty sure this was a darn good mod 3-5 years ago. But not anymore since the final update.

- Tried to do two 10 lap races at Boulder Bank, and all 23 AI cars dead before lap 2.
- A demo derby would regularly last only 60 seconds.
- Racing clean, would constantly get -10 heath for literally just "touching" another car.
- Side-by-side racing will wreck both cars in a matter of seconds just from side-rubbing (not ramming or side-swiping).

It's as if we are driving eggshells.

So again, I am not saying this is a bad mod at all. But it hasn't been updated in years, and is no longer suitable for the latest update as of June 2022.

I would love to use this full version, but the dust and smoke are square, could you please solve this problem? Congratulations on the work, I will use the damage only version.

Lightly tap anything and your car is wrecked, from any side. This mod needs rework as it doesn't make anything more realistic.

its really one of the best mods on the steam community but only one problem, the smoke/dust looks like semi-transparent blocks in the color of the particles. If you can fix this problem, 5 stars

Yes the dust has yet to be fixed, big shame as it really was incredible, and very hard lol

Dust has blocking edges.

I love this mod but I'm having an isue. The Oldsmobile Cutless ST has 6.6 strength, far more than other vehicles like the El Comino or the Mustang, yet the Cutless ST has almost no health. I'm even defenseless against compact cars with 1.0 strength. It makes even a single lap with the Cutless ST impossible.
Was this intentional?

Damage only version I am fixing now so will transfer files later, that smoke was messed right up though may have to wait for that.

LOL I race I tap the side of a car with 1% left DNF time. We need a mod that get rid of health bar make wheels fall off if you smash them.

how long till update? I dislike the health. So dumb to get low health and get DNF. Realism mode isn't as realistic as yours was.

Mods long broke sorry, it's on the list im getting through with help from co authors but damage only version will be first, the smoke requires a bit more work.
Went a bit mad years ago and made too many mods to handle lol

I've tried this mod, but for some weird reason, I end up glitching out of the arena when I hit somebody.
What would happen, is I'll hit another car, and the next thing ya know; I'd either go flying over the wall, or fall right through the ground

Fix dust* eventually

The dust will take some doing but I can fix the damage fairly quickly, I will do it for you soon but it's going to be sensitive, as the game is now much more sensitive.
Also when I make the fixes i will apply it to the damage only version.
I want to fix eventually as i want it back in nascar legends too.

Yes mod is broken, as I have so many it is difficult to keep up with firing them after game updates, to be honest back when I made this the smoke vanished too fast and the cars were nearly indestructible, years on the game has improved these features therefore the mod is low down in my priority at the moment.
