@sephiroth If alpha is controlled by ai he will command all squads. Some squads will will be into roles like infantry or tanks and so on.

the squad a.i alpha bravo charlie ets each corresponds to a role infantry tanks plane?

Does it work with ACE? Looks like player cannot interact with objects or themselves on Dedi server.

You can play with good fps with the standard settings I made. At least it worked for me very well.

In Arma 2 I was able to host the Benny Warfare 16vs16 AI with my D-Server, each with 6 AI units and 46 cities.
Server FPS rarely went below 35.
You can't do that in Arma 3 at all. The FPS on the server go deep in a short time (10FPS), not even with 3/4 less Ai units and cities.

@Salt You can check https://forums.bohemia.net to learn how to setup Mods on a server. The Mod needs to be started at the server and the client aswell.

So I've added the mod to my dedicated server, however I'm unable to see the mission i the mission select menu. If I start a non-dedicated server it seems to be there. What am I missing?

@Leviticus If logged in as server admin you can change the start parameters. 3rd view restriction is the last one in the list.

@TomNewDelhi Must be other mod missing then. I was just guessing with CUP. You can check your rpt file as I said. Press WIN + R to open the run command
Type %localappdata%\Arma 3 (for Arma 3) and confirm

Thanks for the response, ive just checked dedi mods list and cup is installed for server and client so im not sure whats going on here, like i said it runs, i can hear whats going on but i got the black screen, if i press escape i can see my gun, the buildings and the Ai running off at the start of the mission, Run absolutly fine if i run it on my PC. The dedi doesnt seem to run the beginning window where you sort your loadout and buy what you need, it seems like thats missing and replaced with the "receiving" black screen?

@TomNewDelhi That seems to be a problem of a missing mod either on server or on client. In your report file (.rpt), it will show you which one. I would guess CUP Terrains - Core

Hey can anyone assist me?

im hosting on a dedicated server, it runs and but im stuck on a black screen saying "receiving" if i fire a gun i can hear it. if i press escape i can see the menu and hte game (i can see the Ai running off etc) if i exit the menu and go back into the game i am stuck with the "receiving" black screen. Any one know a fix?

@ Lt.JP Only thing I could guess is that you have to be commander to do it. You open the map, hold ALT and click somewhere on the map. This should place the marker, and the same way to delete it. If that does not work, then could be a bug. Can someone confirm?

I'm using Alt + Click (like is say in the manual). Have tried with the alt from the left ant right.

I can't place command waypoints on the map (M key) or in the AI Command Window, what is that I doing wrong? Tnks

@Huntley In der Base werden Geschütze von der KI vom Commander besetzt. In den Towns von der TownGroup. Generell auch wenn eine Squad in einem Bereich patrouilliert.

Heyho, super Modifikation macht wirklich enorm Spaß! Eine Frage stellt sich mir nun doch nach ein paar Runden. Es ist möglich bei eingenommenen Städten Geschütze zu plazieren, genau das Gleiche bei seiner Basis. Leider besetzen die AI diese Geschütze nicht. Kann man das irgendwo einstellen oder den Befehl dazu geben? LG

@Godis at that time it was unbalanced with vanilla assets and other mods like CUP. Things like Armour... don't know about today

@_Muecke: I'v seen a post from 2015 in BH forums where you wrote that you would have to get some experience with ACE. How was it going? :)

@Mazza I've encountered this before. Once you've logged in as Admin, You have to restart the mission again. Then you should be able to change the parameters.

If not, the server config might need changing. I think it's either persistence or auto init. Hope this helps!

@Mazza I remember when I had a server I needed to be logged in as Admin to be able to change parameters. Hopefully this helps.

Same here, I can host it fine on my own PC, but not on the dedicated server.

I have the required mods. The weird thing is I can host it as a client on my own PC. But when I tried to run on my dedicated server it just gets stuck on receiving data.

I tried loading this on our dedicated server today, and unfortunately kept getting a bad signature error.

@GassyButt if it does not show up, it is not loaded. that's the only reason possible.

Anybody have the issue where the proman missions don't show up any longer? I think it happened after SOG Prairie Fire update.

Hi, you dont need to upload missions. They come with the mod so just upload the mod to your dedi-server.

Where is the mission .pbo at? I cant launch my dedicated server without telling it what mission to play but I cant find the mission .pbo anywhere.
