As it turns out, it wasn't working because my Unit Detail was on Low. So problem solved.

I found out the sallets don't show up on unit models unless the unit detail in the graphics menu is on ultra.

I dont get the outrider-helmets with the visors. Did you remove those? I thought they were cool! And would it be possible to make a version with some floppy hats for the ranged units? ;)
Also it doesnt seem to work if you give the troops leg armor but no chestplate. Theres an empty space between legs and torso...
I disabled all empire graphical mods so i don think there´s anything conflicting.

Or is there anything I need to have for it to work?

Do you know what mods might conflict? I disabled my only other Empire Cosmetic mod and it's still the same story.

All I'm getting is the Poofy sleeves with the leather bottle at the side, am I missing something here?

I love the variety in the empires troop uniforms in this mod, great job! The sallet doesn't seem to spawn on any troops for me (but that may be my fault and a mod confliction).

you realize you are talking about peoples tastes in a fantasy game right? Why should history have anything to do with it. I just don't like the floppy hats cuz the look silly. Is that ok with you?

Why remove the floppy hats? They add nice historical flavor to this fantasy world. People who complain about them haven't read any history. The reason people wore them was because no armor wearable on the head would stop shot, so they'd rather spend that money on a thicker breastplate.

@Gustavus yeah i know about it, i still kept it in since theres nothing i can do about it and i dont want to remove those pieces

there is a graphical glitch when a soldier is using the armoured outrider/pistolier pants but no breastplate, theres a section of the waist that becomes invisible.
overall that setup looks a little bit weird.

awesome man, looks way better than the other mod.
some not having a plate at all makes sense, since they pay for their own armor and everyone aren't rich, or they might have gambled all their money away and had to sell their plate.
