Yes, you need to create the folders so that the path is valid.

So,just create a folder,ay?

It is relative to your Steam directory, so you need to add the path to Steam before, like this, for example:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\materials\models\red_hd_mustangshlbyo\skin_2.vtf

The damage effects are also possible on the cars from NFS Most Wanted (2005). I've only recently introduced the new body groups features (animated steering wheel, shifter, dynamic visual damage, etc.), so some of the older HD SCars are missing them. I've already begun the updating process - it's a lengthy one, so please be patient.
