I was able to control regular animals in the second to last campaign mission, just a bug I think you should be aware of.

Did I really not know in 2018 that there was an option to change the game speed of the campaign in the menu even in vanilla

I cannot get this mod to work at all.
I subscribed to this mod, started game, and there was no new mod. I assumed it was just something off of Insect invasion, so i went to M4 to see if i could get the 'new' creatures. I could not.
I went through this post and tried to see if others had issues.
So far, i have unsubscribed, and resubscribed, nothing.
I uninstalled IC and unsubscribed from all mods. Reinstalled IC, and downloaded this mod. Still do not see Better Insect in the mod menu
After this i verified my files, unsub and resubbed, still nothing. Any other tips?

@Black Knight: You can only have one mod active at a time, but they won't conflict with one another. You'll have to switch between them.

This is an amazing mod. It's the only way I play IC nowadays and the campaign is much less tedious with II tweaks like 100 pop cap and spawning directly from workshops. I do have a suggestion for the campaign. Do you think it's possible to switch the speed of gameplay in the campaign to fast? I always hated how slow the campaign was and still do to this day. But regardless, top mod.

Yeah, if verifying the game cache doesn't work, try unsubscribing and resubscribing.

I'll try that, not sure it would fix mod issues though. I'll try deleting the mod folder after that and forcing it to reinstall.
