Can you make a mod that makes the campaign map less laggy for laptop/potato pc users?

Hey mate, was just playing warhammer 2 and was reminded how great this mod is! the constant effects spam on the infantry is ridiculous lol

Yep, ought to be. But no, it doesn't remove the weapon effect. I think other mods touch on it though, it's another file being modified. :-)

Is this still up to date? Also, does it remove the annoying "weapon glow" effects? I hate that some units (Knights o.t. Blazing Sun) are running around with lightsabers. Completely out of place imo.

Very nice. I hate all that over-the-top glowing crap. i don`t even think magic would be that glowy if it existed in real life! Most of it would be invisible.

good job, but i suggest you to keep the lights effects for the ability and just remove the visual effect of the morale, like the fear or the aura of a lord. because in the lore, a lot of the ability really have visual effects, and for the gameplay i think it would be better

the mod still doesn't work for runesmith and runelord aura buff

I thought that too, but whenever this mod and any custom map is enabled, it causes a launch crash

Falxmen: We're talking very slightly, if there's a looot effects going on at the same time, that does hurt fps, at that point, this mod is good, the one with less magic effects as well even more so. :)

so does this actualy increase fps anyone cause i have absolute horrid [FPS 630M for ya] also does anyone else knwo of other mods that change some looks for better fps.things like no dust mod and such

PFM can be found by a google search, it's the tool I use. Then it's a combination of Magnar's tutorials on youtube and trial and error. :-D

just tell me where to send your 'im a legend badge'. seriously though, thanks for doing that, i love total war but all those swirls and colours were killing it for me, wish i knew how to make these mods myself but i wouldnt know where to start

thanks for this mate, much better. any chance you could do a version without the magic effects aswell? not the actual spells etc just the visual buff effects. i know they are there so i can see if the spells are working but thats ALL i can see in battles is sparkles and coloured lights, it spoils the battles for me when i cant see wtf is going on under all the effects. there was a mod i was using that fixed it but it seems to not be working anymore. thanks mate
