I never use it though. It leads to lots of super weak units just running everywhere, lagging the game horribly and also being way slower than concentrating all production. It also often glitches out with units just disappearing forever.

sooo erm Fleetmanager is a thing. I guess i know now why you discontinued this mod. Thanks anyways though, this was one of my favourits when it still was needed.

This is by far one of the moost useful mods I have found for Stellaris! We have all experienced how buggy the vanilla version of rally points can be. When you tell ships to upgrade and there is a rally point right there in front of them they seem to ignore it and go to the next available rally point (Vanilla Version) But this mod fixes that! Way to go!!!! This fixes one of the most annoying bugs in the game in my opinion.

I do have one question for the author. The "Assign to staging area x" works perfectly. So I am wondering what the purpose of the "Rally Here" is for? Will setting this edict on the rally point eliminate the need for the assign command for planets in that same sector? Just confused about the purpose of the Rally Here?

The mod does work amazingly well. Thanks again. Great Mod!

If you want to do translations, you can translate the english .yml file in the localisation folder, write a comment here and then add me as a friend and i'll incorporate it into the mod.

hmm, it might be possible. But i don't think there would be a way to set it whilst not orbiting a planet and there's probably no way to show the point on the fleet itself.

I'm aware, unfortunately paradox haven't added a way to merge ships via scripts... yet.

So I've concluded that this mod is very good, and there's only one thing keeping it from being great and worthy of being paid by the dev to integrate into a future patch and that's have the ships merge at the rally point like they would do at their point of production if no rally point is set. Having a list full of dozens of single ships just looks bad.

if you still have that placeholder text your mod version must be old, i just had a person download it fresh and they didn't have the text.

Also i changed it to staging area a couple of days ago maybe? It was suggested to have something more immersive than 'rally point', and i agreed with that sentiment (it hadn't occurred to me beforehand)

That should have been fixed in the latest update, has it not been?
I needed something to test the length of the strings so that they didn't get cut in half and picked the first thing that came to mind and then i accidentally i had in when i updated.
But as i said, it should have been fixed.

It's quite idiotic this wasn't in the game via the actual devs...thanks.

I mean, god, the AI has super multi-tasking abilities while players get stuck with clunky sub-par controls. We need more stuff like this badly.

I don't understand why this wasn't in the game in the first place. I think it's the only game of its kind that doesn't have Rally points. Well done on fixing a glaring development error.

A small suggestion: instead of a very "video gamey" term of Rally Point, could the in-game description use something more immersive, like "Staging Area Alpha/Beta/Delta"?
