Any chance for aspiring champions retexture to make their armor black with gold instead of solid gold ones and maybe give them some axes too? BTW, really hope to see a version with glowing runes that Brightest Light was talking about. Thanks.

@Nimue - Can confirm there is a visual bug with the Warriors using the Knights Swords Variant Definition. For whatever reason, its bugging out the texture to black on part of the model until you zoom in, at which point the sword becomes black entirely.

Hope this helps to resolve the issue, otherwise GJ!

Amazing, how much better Archaon looks without the glowing runes on his helmet. They always made it look like his helmet was falling to pieces.

just wanted to add my comment now that Im at the end of my chaos campaign...THANK YOU, bald generic chaos warrior guy was driving me crazy for some reason, and the overall redesign of the faction has really added to the dynamic value of the aesthetic of my armies in conjunction with chaos divided!

Any reason in using both your mod and Stormkirk's Chaos Warriors with Swords mod? It seems right now they do the same or am I wrong? Except yours also darkens Archaon's armor i guess.

If i am guessing correctly you used something called alpha channels to make the bitmap transparent although grasping the concept is something new to me. I would be grateful if you could spare some time to help me. This is my first time using photoshop and i have no previous experience with modding at all. But did you download the nvidia dds plugin? if so which format did you save the dds file in? I assume so far it is in 8 bpp because of the file size, but there are quite alot of formats, so i dont know which one to take, so maybe you could answer me that. Thanks in regards.

Hi Nimue, you have inspired me to do action and try do some bit of modding myself. I wish to use your mod as a base for a black texture armor for chaos warriors and choosen and change some other things. I have a question though. I want to remove the skull sitting on top of the helmet on the chaos choosen. How did you manage to remove the skull on top of the the chaos warriors? Have tried experimenting a bit with transparent bitmapping in photoshop on the diffuse texture but i think i am doing something wrong, cause I cant seem to get it to work in game. Any way you could spare some advice in this regard?

Can't say I am a fan of the champion's (not Archaon) yellow/gold helm. Everthing else looks pretty good.
