I agree with description. The vanilla communication infrastructure does indeed look lame. There is need for greater antenae, dishes and etc more reminiscent of the Cold War early warning detection systems.

Well... The upper anthena can be changed for Star Trek Phaser and BOOM... We have a nice Groud to Space anti ship cannon

This looks great. Also are the laser antennas really the same range as normal ones? I remember reading they have more range, but I am not sure.

Very nice! I like what you did with half-built window frames.

And you bring up some excellent points. Omnidirectional antennas make sense on spaceships that fly around all over the place, but not on the surface, and ESPECIALLY not for antennas that communicate with something that's designed to hang in geostationary orbit forever. A well-aimed satellite dish would offer a greater range for less power, with a bonus of being more difficult to detect from less relevant directions. So why can't we build directional antennas?

I may take inspiration from the designs, but I'm not really a fan of shooters. I prefer builing games, or stuff that includes flying

yup, dish can be rotated, just search for the rotors and adjust them to your liking

@Darth_Gurgle i think so because you cant angle it this way without rotors because i use this system for my big lighting systems
