i use Scunthorpe United from the bottom league until the premier league, now after 4 seasons finally become the FA cup winners and rank 3 in premiere league, just wanna start the new season but it always forced closed without a reason, is scunthorpe united aren't allowed to play in champions league? please kindly check the bug, thanks.

That's great, guys, thanks a lot!

The dev told me the exact thing as ManCanCook just wrote. The workaround to start fresh in the lowest league with your favourite team in a "Sandbox Mode"-mod is to edit the team standings manually.

Go to Main Menu -> Modify League -> Modified -> "England | English Football League" -> Continue -> Change Teams -> Drag "Newcastle United" to whatever league you want to start in.

There's no need to edit the players as that happens automatic with whatever league you place your team in. So if you place them on the bottom you will start with the worst players in the country.

FireLeper, what I do in this case is just edit the mod and save it locally. It literally takes all of 2-3 minutes as most to drag the team you want to the bottom place and set their strength level to 0 or 1/2 star. This way you can enjoy all the fun of bringing your favourite side up from the depths.

Hope that helps and you can enjoy taking Newcastle all the way.

Until you asked I did not know that when you pick a team in a "Sandbox Mode"-mod (over 68 teams) it starts in the team's current league (like in FM) and not in the lowest league as usual. I passed the idea forward to the developer to maybe let you choose whether you want to start in the current league or fresh in the lowest league when picking your favourite team.

Hi Vikan, great mod! Just wondered, iirc it used to be that you could play as a PL team but start as a bottom league team eg I started as Newcastle, but in the bottom league with no money and crap players (not that different from real life, actually). Is that not possible now? I'd rather bring my boys up through the ranks rather than Torquay or whoever.

Update #8 for the English Football League mod has now been released with the missing kits for the EFL League Two and National League. I've also updated the AFC Wimbledon kits for you ManCanCook to correspond with their 2019-20 home, away and goalkeeper kits.

The kits for the 48 newly added teams are still a work in progress. I hope to get the update out very soon alongside team abbrevation corrections and custom weather presets for London-, Manchester-, Merseyside- and Tyne and Wear-based teams. So I would recommend waiting for this update before starting a new save file if you want the correct kit colors for the EFL League Two and National League teams.

Oh, I was just being a general twonk. No need to change a lovely mod. Whilst I remain a loyal Wimbledon supporter, Crewe has just been around ages and may well have a larger following. You're lovely to offer, though. Again, great work.

Thanks for the feedback! The skills of the players when you start a new save file is not based from a mod. It's already integrated in the game. So I can not do anything about it.

Terrific job with logo and players name, but is very unbalanced skill, in the amateur's league we face teams which players skill's level is too high.

And if you want to have real logos for teams from other leagues you need to download modpacks for the other leagues aswell.
