The twist is that a player can save a fallen compadre by sprinting unarmed through enemy territory, and running her amigo back into a safe zone.

TBH this was a project I started when I had a lot more free time. It is an open source project, and I'd be willing to do QA and cut releases from Github, but I don't really have the time to do much beyond that ATM.

this gamemode isnt really that good quality... if you worked on it more and polished it up overall i would totally use it in my server

I don't really have the time to set up a game and take the shots, but I'll post any that anyone has. As for the map, so as long as it is open source or you have the rights to it, I can port it to the gamemode easily enough. It just involves setting a few variables.

Finally got to play this with some friends tonight, realized I forgot the logic to keep prisoners from escaping together. Patch released.

I doubt it. Besides the western theme these two have very little in common. Plus that game isn't even in development anymore.
