Yes, because despite being graphical, the city type will conflict with the new type of update so it will crash, usually you could just cut out the city from the mod and leave only the ship types and then should work, keep in mind, you dont have a model for later ships, so it will be missing or have a standard specie appearance, hope it helped.

I even wrote before if i can update, but sorry i dropped modding stellaris for many reasons, sorry for false hope.

@Ancell - This mod is not compatible with NSC by default. I'm making a IIC - Revival - Extra Playable Races NSC Expansion patch, where I'm going to add in all 4 Fallen Empire types plus multiple colors of Unbidden, and the rest of the Extra Races. I hope to have it out before the end of the month.

Mod works fine now. only ship i see its acing up is the Titan class from the ISBS mod. it got back to how it was before a fallen empire titan ship whit a mamel battleship stuck in it

@sovereign it make zero sense to abandon this mod ... its one of my favorite ship type mods but now it is ruined because of the x-slots that strap mammalian shipparts to them ... only this position need a fix and anything is fine

all I want is someone to fix the corvette and battle ships having cliping with the weapons such as torpedo. I dont care whether the original mod maker does it, or someone else does it.

This still works, except putting an X-Large slot on a battleship makes it weird.
