Regarding the map itself, you have an A for creativity, but an F for staying with the spirit of the game. Much fun as turrets are, Portal and Portal 2 aren't meant to be shooter-style games! Also, it was kinda frustrating to try and figure out the solution (i.e. where to shoot exactly).

(Alas, as you know, the aiming interface is quite laggy.)
The last time people had this problem it was because the i/o chain that puts you in control didn't recognize the player as the root triggering entity. I wonder what it is this time. :(

It's great that you're trying something different but without proper information about this new style it's confusing as to what has to happen. I only figured it out from the comments on here.
