hope an update is in the works?

just get the ark parados mod. It adds cool bosses and new creatures and the bola deals torpor and can bola any sized creature. And the best pike deals a hole bunch of torpor and is really strong so you can kill or knock out massive creatures.

Will this be updated anytime soon? Tried to add it for other maps and said it was out of date.

This mod is great, in addition with the narco spear, this make a complete kit for all torpor measure you'd want to use in various situations and apropriate ressources available ^^ I just wonder if the pike is breakable and need repair, wich would be perfect :O

Looks like this will be good for my future war vids, and when i say war i mean a litteral war with 3 teams having 100 dinos if not more,, i have seen war vids where its a handful of dinos and i say"you call that an army i call that a joke XD"

everytime i try to craft the pike my game crashes.. the bola worked fine. and i can hover over the pike receipe if i dont have a pike. but when i have one and hover over the receipe the game will crash.

Does this work with Scorched Earth?

no modifiers and just 110% melee and a bola dropped a bronto in one hit. It does not just effect what a primitive bola does. 6 off these dropped a giga with 140k torpor.... way to op... had high hopes for this mod. If they were toned down to a reasonable level they would be usable. the pike needs to have something to bring it down to, otherwise you have a godly tool. maybe make it break after like 10 hits or something... idk. it works but not balanced

Anyone know how to get this working with primitive plus server? Having lots of dramas with it. it seems to only want one or the other

Hi survivors, we just open a PvP 35 slot server and using this mod . .its a custom primitive server, as primitive + mod does not goes well with mods, we decided to make one with settings and then add some mods, we cover a wide range of different adjustments like making Gigas and Brontos untameable .. or have drop loots disabled, xp is x10, harvesting x5 and taming x50 egghatching and breeding is also x50...we have disabled the fabricator and all stuff made in it, also we dont have electricity or high explosives like c4 or rpg, we are able to do only what you can do in smithy, like a longneck rifle, we are based in the Center.

primitive plus does not work if u add even only one mod, engrams get meessed up and the ones from pp are not showing ...

How can I lower the traque amount on it? We are in hard mode and don't want it to powerful...

Works great. I am surprised at how well a tranq pike works. Great for those pesky Compys.

Toosik: Yes, I used it on a Diplodocus in The Center and The Island.

Are you using TheCenter map?

Toosik: I tested it out with the new update and it was working like usual. My only suggestion for now would be to uninstall and reinstall the mod.

Doc Hussey: The bola in this mod is not reusable. Also, the torpor is built into the hit, so even if it isnt wrapping up the dinos legs it is still damaged by the hit. I wouldn't call it broken. I made it to be effective against lower level and low torpor dinos, but not as effective against dinos like a Rex, Giga, and high level Bronto etc. If you throw this at a Giga, for example, you will need way more than one.

As I stated on the bola standalone: "This... This is beyond OP/Broken. It's like a forever tranq dart in bola form. No matter what you hit with it, whether it is affected by the bola tie-up or not, it gets the tranq effect. Example: Missed a raptor, hit a bronto behind it, bronto collapses. "What the..." "

it does as much damage as the dart but adds more torp.

The pike hits with the same effectiveness as a dart but has a higher multiplier? Sorry, I don't know what "hit effectiveness" means nor what multiplier you are speaking of. How much damage and torpor please?

Deme: There may be an issue when they are stacked. Ill remove the ability to stack them, that may help with them glitching.

ah ty super yeah i usually make a stack of 10 for bolas because i get a ttacked in groups lol but after i made the 10 and tossed one they glitched

Deme: I'll look into it. I can't say i've experienced the issue before. I usually only make one or two at a time when I test them.

i found a slight issue i used a narco bola on a dino and i didnt pick it up i had 9 more in my hotbar but for some reason i couldnt use the rest and i didnt get the animation for the bolas "winding up" it just sat in my hand untill it was tossed but i had to uninstall the mod and reinstall it to even move them out of the hotbar.. i love the pike thou very good job on that but the bolas are a bit buggy for me
