Actually my bad i realised if you dont touch the government tab you can switch anything else and save it... Lucky for my collectivist and fanatic materialist is the ethos combo i love the most anyway so your mod is 10/10 I LOVE YOU :*

How about you add the ai government as an event in the beginning along with converting the pops? That way anyone can create their nation with any name flag and ethics. They save it normally and the first event reverts their pop into synths and their government type with it. Ofc they cant ever get it back if they change it but they start with it. Pls make it happen if you can... your mod is the best so far and i really want to stick with it. It would be also more usable in multiplayer with friends in case they want to run the same synth empire but not share the same flag/name/ethos

Making AI government possible to switch to would require replacing existing game files, which I consider to be outside the scope for this mod. I suggest trying to change the flag in the save files.

Can you add the Ai government to the pool? Unfortunately if its not available you cant save any modifications to the species like flag or empire name (i know the latter can be changed any time during game). I tried choosing a government in order to save the cganges but then during the event it doesnt revert the government back to what it should be and i was stuck with science directorate. I also uploaded my own version of the mod and i only changed the flag but somehow the machine empire doesnt show up at all. I dont know what i skrewed up since every thing is in my mod folder exactly the way i found them. Can you explain how i can fix it in case you dont want to change your mod?

Great mod, simplier but better than "Playable robots". One thing strange is that at some time the empire gouvernor die, and the empire have no gouvernor anymore :)

They cannot be genetically modified, as, in fact, they are the vanilla buildable synths. While a cool concept and something to keep in mind for future ideas, to make it work and fit in is outside the scope of this mod.

This is going to sound ridiculous but...can you genetically modify these synths?
I'm assuming not, but hear me out on this, I liken the "genetic modifications" to making specific alterations to models of synths. For instance the synths on your energy worlds could be modified to be thrifty, denoting that their bodies are purpose built for the specifics of gathering large amounts of energy and ones on science planets could be modified to be intelligent denoting that their processors or whatever are overclocked.

Just saying that if it were possible to implement this it would be really damn cool.

It is using the Machine Conciousness government form that the AI Rebellion uses

-50% Mod army upkeep
-50% Mod ship upkeep
-30% Mod spaceport ship build cost
-50% Mod ship upgrade cost
-20% Mod planet building cost
+30% Mod country all tech research speed

So, pretty OP really. I might update to include variants that use the advanced materialist democracy or autocracy variants.

whats the AI empire stats? i know i'd like some sort of "complete hivemind as gov type (no ruler every single unit is just as powerfull as any other.)

@daybreaks I tried doing that to start with, but the problem is that the AI ships don't have as many ship classes and sections as normal races and that they don't line up one to one either. To make that would require some significant modding and probably modeling, something I don't know. As such I felt it was better going for the generic technologyness of the Mammalian ships. Hopefully though, someone will release a ship graphics pack in the AI style in the future.

Could you bring AI ships and stations within it? In my opinion this mod is better than playable robot. It's almost like vinilla synthetics.

The sound bug is now fixed. Apparently, believe it or not, it was my choice of portrait, the Rogue AI. Changed it to the purple Synth instead and the sound disappeared.

There's this annoying motor+beep sound that keeps playing when I'm using this race. It fits the theme but since it plays non-stop it becomes grating. If it only played when you bring them up in the diplomacy/species/empire tabs I think it would be OK.
