@Aitherix Just to let you know, the author of this mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1457731350 found a way to script a workaround to allow for toggleable edicts.

the new format change is small, just change "county_edict" to your edicts name. Example: "my_edict". Make sure to remove the "name=" line.

A mod inspired by this one, Easy Edicts, https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1313121833 , is a good stopgap for anyone reading. Also for you Mister Mod Author, I think it should serve as a template or example to help retool your code.

I've been looking in the game files and I've seen that 2.2 has changed the format for edicts. It looks to me that each edict would need to be individually updated to the new format.

Getting the same problem as Farrier, only an army buff labelled as 'edict_country_edict'

after the update i can only find edicts that seem like placeholders, like "edict_cost" with no actual costs or benefits and enabling them does nothing and the checkbox remains unchecked

I believe that with the release of 2.0, edicts were given a maximum length of time. I don't think they can be extended past 10 years. *Source: Other cheat mod comment threads.
