It's a separate mod with a different name? This mod doesn't work with WOTC. Couldn't locate the tinkerer.

yeah, really a unique class with the specialty ordinance. This was my original gunslinger. Would be really good if you have the spare time to upgrade it but I realize real life happens. Just a little motivation.

Second that! I love this class it's ass kicking geekery. I love assigning a crap soldier to the role, geeked out with glasses and long hair ... funny voice, with the "Just want to play XBox" or whatever from the extended bio. No one ever wants him on a mission, then one time he drops a clutch stun and all your boys are like damn this guys got some skills! Then he's pulled in on like every mission and soon hes lighting pods on fire and mind controlling charging berserkers.

Really though, your mod is one of the more unique and enriching classes out there and really does fit a unique slot where the stars are hulking steroid monsters with one hit kill swords.

I think a lot of people would appreciate you giving this the WOTC treatment when you have some free time!

It more or less is compatible, but you would need to change the abilities that utilize the pistol from the secondary weapon to the pistol in a utility slot.

Seems to be a problem with the Aegis bullet. Target becomes unconscious and all enimies after that don't move or attack.

I switched the Inspiron Bullet and the Circuit Round; Inspiron was too good for that early on. and the change had a kind of duality to it.

Hello there,

I found somthing interesting with your mod. When you get stasised by a codex[could be others, havent tested], you can still use both Blaze bolt and Poison shell to kill enemies[Fun, but i am guessing still a bug].

Ah, you need to fix the Hex Armor description IN-GAME then, it states:

"HEX ARMOR: Recovers 1 HP per turn, grants immunities to all statuses. Bonus MOBILITY , defence, dodge, and armor." (immunities isn't a word, just immunity, see below)

Yep, it says bonus mobility there

You might want to say:

"HEX ARMOR: Recovers 1 HP per turn and grants immunity to all status afflictions. Bonus defence, dodge, and armor are also granted at a penalty of -3 mobility."

If you have Hex Armor perk, it cuts mobility by 3. So +3 from SMG and -3 from Hex armor brings it back to 12.

Something odd is going on with the Tinkerer: it isn't registering the extra mobility granted by the SMG.

Example: she has 11 mobility +3 from the SMG, but once I'm on the Tactical map with Squad Cohesion giving everyone +1 mobility, she shows having 12 instead of 15.

I checked with other soldiers and they show up just fine. Weird.

Maybe if you didn't have them completely ignore armor? I've seen my magnetic pistols just rip into 13HP/3Armor MECs with Quick Draw then Aegis Bullet and Quick Draw the next turn by the Tinkerer solely (4-5 damage pershot).

I will admit it is an op class that is best paired with difficulty enhancements. But only Blaze Bolt and Aegis Bullet are aim independent. The rest of the pistol perks takes aim into account.

I only got up to Sgt. but this galpal was so invaluable on my squads as the go-to lockdown. Was this intended?

You can code it in XComClass Data. Under Squaddie, just add this line in within aAbilityTree: (AbilityName="Quickdraw") after Blaze Bolt.

And oh, yeah...I have Quickdraw set for all Pistol users from Customize All Abilities mod, yet this dude doesn't fire a Pistol shot first for free...where do I "code" this in the config/ini?

First of all, this is a great class.

Second of all, Blaze Bolt shows up fine on my Tinkerer.

Question, though: it doesn't set the alien/ADVENT that I fire upon aflame? Only the surroundings? THEN they burn once their turn comes around?

Just a behavior I've noticed so far...I've only gotten up to the Aegis Bullet, which is awesome in its own right! Especially when none of them is aim dependent...!

Hmm... I also had the mod spiderman removed. That one doesn't seem to work properly anymore after the Alien Hunter update. At least for my case.

I have the older one that Spiderman removed. The ability slots aren't an issue. The actual Blaze Bolt ability isn't even in the soldier abilities (even though it was there before) and it sort of just disappeared from one mission to another. @wroild get the mod 30 abilites. its newish and fixes the 15 cap problem

@vvroild Firaxis hardcodes the 'no more than 15 or 14' ability icons limit. So if you have more than 15 or 14, then an ability icon will disappear.

For whatever reason, the Blaze Bolt ability disappeared on my Tinkerer. I'll try to see what's going on later.
