Mission was updated - it now has automatic save points at the key events and allows you to create your own save points.
I hope you enjoy, and let me know if there's anything else I can improve in the mission!

Please add savepoints for singleplayer. It's soooo brutal. Putting yourself in the front line equals a bullet to the head and another restart. Your AI squadmates are totally inept at finding concealed enemies.

That's correct, however if you fire a few at a time you get better results. To get full illumination you need to radio for battlefield illumination (0-0-1). Handling the limited supply is part of the mission, however you can choose unlimited illumination fire missions from the mission parameters in the MP lobby!

Grenade-launcher flares don't seem to do much to light the ground. Are there other flare you're supposed to find?

This is most likely linked to a mod in your own set and not with the mission - would you mind trying to load the mission with only the required add-ons listed?
