Cool gun but the ironsights just totally break the immersion, look like some bs off of COD Infinite Warfare. At least the gun isnt broken and all the anims work unlike some of the other SCARs on the workshop.

I'm sure they're talking about the ironsights, not the SUSAT or SRS.

For those who don't know, you can simply download your own Mk 18 iron sight modifying mod and it should replace the glass irons.

Those you guys call it a futuristic scope I think it's SUSAT scope. Which is using by British army with theirs L86. I don't sure when was the production's begin but I'm sure it was available in market for long time. While the red dot sight in the screenshot I think it's Trijicon SRS dot sight.

yeah dude the futuristic sight is kinda weird in the modern day setting could u try to make an accurate sight ??

LOL cool weapon. It is fun to play with it but I am not sure as for that futuristic default sights.

@Tharrgor Not all SCAR-L rifles come from the factory with the burnt bronze finish on the upper reciever.

I have been looking at this mod for ages thinking it looks nice but the dark yellow colour depicted in ALL BUT ONE of the screenshots looks awful. Only now after reading your comment confirming that the first picture is the version included in the subscription have I subscribed.
Having all but one screenshot NOT accurately depicting the content is not a good idea if you want people to subscribe, or not be confused. At the very least, you should have clearly indicated in the description that the first screenshot is the version included in the upload.
This is purely constructive criticism by the way, I love your work on Insurgency. I just figured I had best point this out.

The Scar L isnt a full ABS Gun, just the lower Reciever. The Upper Part is Highly Pressed Aluminum. Ur Coloring is way of :/ I own an AS Scar-L (100% Markings, Replica) And u have way to much "Gloss" and the wrong base Color... The First Picture was perfect :P

less "gold" and more "sand" colour and I resubsribe ;)

@SethSamson Fair enough. It's kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that there's so many good models for MK18s/M16s/M4s but not too many for the others. I do understand why tho'.

@Kazimir there alot of weapons like m4 .. or m16 .. but there is none similar to sterling or galili ..

If I may, why do modders prefer to make their models replace the MK18 instead of other rifles?

Please KEEP the current coloring with the more white. That's how the real SCAR-L looks and I like the look of it.

There's some older SCAR models on the workshop with the SCAR front sight and another mod with the SCAR rear sight. Is it possible to use those?

Yes thats the one FDE, i like that one the original Scar color.

The color your looking for is FDE, flat dark earth.

Hey Seth, I'm really enjoying your new Scar L but the color is pretty light on tan. Do you think you can make it a little darker or a bit brownish so it can match with your tan peq15 laser/flashlight? Hoping both can match colors. Also can you color the barrel of the gun to black instead of the stock grey one? I have a few screenshots of the scar with the your peq laser. But if you cant then thats okay, Thank you.

Its a bit too yellow... I would brown it up a bit more, and make a snake skin pattern with brown and grey shades. Just a suggestion :) but I agree with one commenter that this needs to be a M4 replacement. The struggle is real when fighting for a Specialist spot in squad selection lol
