Add a localisation folder, add a file called mod_l_english (read mod as name of your mod), write l_english in notepad++ in it, then enter + space + name_list_human_3: "Name here!" - then another enter.
Also not sure how many gods are in the Asian religions, but you could probably look at Shinto and Confucian.

It'd be cool to have a Multiplayer game and have various players using ancient gods names.
If you feel the planets named after Norse gods sounds odd, you can add "heim" to them (eg Odinheim). It fits as "heim" in Norse means "home" or "world" (depending on context).
If all's well, I'll do so....
