Anyway, I don't disagree about the ability of lower-cast warriors, please ubderstand. One lowly farmer defending his hearth could be a lion in reality. I just think the attire is off in Gaul, and was poorly represented even in the first Rome Total War game. Mass units of loinclothed warriors was a tradition, woad in Briton and indigo in Iberia, produced blue warrior cultures, but these were again sacred ritual uses, often done by a few at a time as a death pack. Much like Native American's who put on their Death Faces before battle, and many cultures from Africa to the Indian subcontinent did the same. The Iceni revolt is a good source, that tells us the veterans in the queens host wore woad. It's just a matter of emmersion on the mainland, that's why I had to unsibscribe. I use Sebedee's (not sure I spelled it right) culture packs and a few other unit mods too. I highly recommend those!
Sorry if it came off as negative. I still give the mod a fav and a thumbs up.
Cheers!
