Invincible spirit trolls are a huge problem. They just keep regenerating health infinitely, and cause all the AI to attack that one entity indefinitely.

Version 0.10 wizards seems to stop atacking. The do the basic atack animation, but no spell is casted (so, nop atack at all) ;

@Switch To my knowledge, the game does not support mods in multiplayer at this time.

How do I get 1.0 to work with multiplayer?

I just realized I should edit it so that it shows up in the mod list as "Majestic Majesty 0.10" instead...

@HippieShopper Unfortunately, 0.19 is not stable, and amantalado has disappeared for some reason. I highly recommend getting the copy of 0.10 that I have provided in the pinned "Majestic Majesty .10" thread, as it is quite excellent and stable.

I am trying to figure that out too Nostalgia, there are no easy to find instructions on that.

Specifically, look for the one in the comments to that thread.

@Falcon_BR That is sadly true, amantalado was planning to do a stable/balanced version every 10 versions (so 0.10, 0.20 etc.) but then disappeared at 0.19, unfortunately. If you want a more streamlined experience, consider downgrading to 0.10, which still has a lot of cool stuff but far fewer bugs.

0.19 is extremely bugged, Lots of my heores just get stuck, they have 50+ health potion but doesn't use any, if you already have an existing mage tower in the mission, you can't upgrade it!

@Sector 347 - Did you use the rolled back Majesty 0.10? The 0.19 release is extremely buggy and amantalado has not been seen for several years.

I tried this, my friens. Well, it sounds nice in theory, but for me heroes AI ruins it all. I tried "Holy Chalice" quest several times, and always I failed it because of heroes who don't do enough exploring. They literally just sitting in the fairgrounds... even if monsters are outside, razing town and raping peasants... Also they ignore flags. Nope, just not interested, even if you put 500 or 1500. Better sit in fairgrounds.

Just for science purposes I tried this quest with mod disabled. Quest was done in 1 try. Heroes are nice and obedient. They defend homes, if monsters attack them and quick react to flags. I scout borders of the map in the beginning with few 200 flags.

Can't reccomend it, alas.

@DoppleDox Per the changelog, you use the dismiss button after selecting the research. I highly recommend checking out the pinned thread for Majestic Majesty 0.10 where I provided the previous version of the game. It does not feature the research system, among other things, but it's very stable and is very awesome.

How on earth do i start research?! I'm just stuck on the magical item looking screen, clicking everything to make it start, but nothing happens. Is it a bug?

precious pearl, have you tried version 0.10, linked just a few comments below? It's more stable and I think might be more balanced not just in terms of difficulty but also in terms of game play. I don't remember the details, but if you weren't completely sold on this one that version might yet be worth a try.

some cool ideas and cool spells, but overall a bad mod; the game has way too much micromanagement already, a little automation would go a long way for the hundred or so new researches added. certainly a good concept

Rediscovered this game! Just hoping the giants come late so you can get your dwarf towers up!

I'm hopeful, but I'm also a little skeptical; so far, most of the time when something inspired by Majesty was made (even up to Majesty 2!), it's been a bit disappointing to me, just in terms of general quality or (in the case of Majesty 2) how much it actually takes from the original. That last point doesn't seem like it will be a problem for this title, but the quality is still in the air. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

This mod has not been updated in close to two years!
The current version of 0.19 has many bugs and glitches. It WILL crash.
While it added cool features that you may test, it is NOT STABLE.

If you like this mod (We all do), then you can play the 0.10 version, which is VERY stable.

Sorry that this version is bugged. The mod creator has stopped updating and working on it.
Don't expect any upcoming fixes.
The community can give tips, but there is nothing new coming to this mod.

While playing with this. The item "Special Quest Item" is sometimes dropped. Heroes get stuck trying to pick it up on the campaign maps.

Actually, ignore my comment. Get the stable version instead. Actually read shit before you start complaining. Namington is a big help!

Often heroes just get stuck on nothing. They do nothing for whole minutes of game time unless agroed. Uncommon, but common enough to be an issue. Literally couldn't complete the Slaves quest because my barbarians would crowd around an item none of them could pick up, then followed by my rangers, so my army was crowded and they could do literally nothing.
Also breaks save games.

But is it worth the frustration? Yes, probably.

y`fu Interesting, can you describe in a bit more detail? I haven't noticed any pathing issues, myself... or I don't think so anyway; it's been a little while since I last played it.

As noted in the most recent comments, the version here on Steam is not stable, and development has stopped for the forseeable future. Errors can still happen, but I recommend getting the old stable version which I linked to in the Majestic Majesty 0.10 discussion.
