The "Brrrrt" Sound is actually the minigun or the GAU-8/A Avenger Gatling gun, the reason for this is because the A10 fires rounds that are faster than the speed of sound, so they’ll get to the target faster than the sound of the gun actually firing

There's a bug in the parish campaign where after you hear the sound of the plane, all the sounds get quieter.

the "BRRRRRRRRT" is the noise that its nose mounted GAU-8 makes. however i wish there was an effect to replace the jets engine sounds with the realistic ones though.
