Rain or snow version
Hey guys, so I'm almost done with the process of updating the mod to patch 1.33, which should be pushed out some time during this weekend or next week. Next week is also my finals week, so I will not be able to do any gaming for that week. Then right after that, I'm packing for a trip back to my hometown (planning to bring my desktop with me so I can still work on updates).
Now, I have some news, good and bad.
Let's start with the bad: Now that the Beyond the Baltics Sea DLC is out, the price is a bit too high for me at this current moment in my time; $17.99 is quite a lot. Granted, it looks like a really well-done DLC by SCS, and the price makes sense. But for now, I'm facing quite a bit of expenses from college living. This means that there will not be a BtBS addon for EDXP for a while.
Thank you for your time to read this, and safe trucking, folks!
I am going to update EDXP-EU and its addons starting this week. It is a lot to update, so this will take some time. In the meantime, please be patient! :)
There's a separate mod also on the SCS Forums that replaces raindrop textures with snowfall. Should work great with the snow mod I recommended. However, I've heard the snow falls down like raindrops still.
Not worth my time to make a snow mod if someone else has already made it. Plus, I don't reupload anybody else's work on Workshop for the sake of integrity.
Frosty
Sound Fixes
EDXP
Thanks Boeing for a great mod :-)
Great question! Load EDXP above Frosty, then it's up to you if you want to use his sounds or mine. If you wish to use my AI and environment sounds, load EDXP above Sound Fixes. The rest should be in harmony in that order.
I'm using frosty winter from grimes and sound fixes von drive safely so where should I place your mod to get the best out of all.
A overview of my actual load could be found here : http://rhuidean.de/ETS_Loadorder.jpg
See description above. There is a link to the snow mod that I use. However, it is still a WIP for 1.26.
In the next version, I am actually going to remove the modified FOV since 1.26 now allows you to set your own FOV to your liking.
I am currently updating the mod, and with new features. Expect an update this coming week!
Thank you for telling me that. But I think more people would like you mod more if you did put in snow. But still it's a great mod.
I'm adding a NOTICE to the mod description both on Workshop AND in-game due to the frequently asked question about snow. I'm also updating the preview photo to include that NOTICE.
You need to download a Winter mod. There's one with a name "Frosty" made by 'grimes' available on the SCS forums.

I do not make skins either. I'm only able to edit definitions and make custom sounds. Sorry.
I have no experience in 3D modelling. Also, slippery roads is a neat idea; however, I'm leaving that to those who make a winter mod of some sort. I only made sounds to be more fitting to the environment.
