I was having an issue where assigning scientists to the Psi Lab was causing my game to CTD. Not sure what step worked, but here's what I did:

1.) Verified Integrity of Game files via Steam
2.) Cleared config files in My Documents (NOT install folder)
3.) Ran Vanilla Xcom2 WOTC
4.) Enabled LWOTC and minimum required mods, manually deselected "[WotC] Mod Config Menu"
5.) Ran game, loaded save, assigned 2 scientists to Psi Lab with no issue, saved it as an alternate save and closed LWOTC.
6.) Selected all original mods, including "[WotC] Mod Config Menu", from mod manager.
7.) Reloaded alternative safe
8.) Psi lab had scientists assigned still, no crashing (though I'm not touching those slots ever again)

Will update everyone if I run into more issues!

"Allow for Larger Squad Sizes" definitely wouldn't have been. Apart from that no idea what's going on, this mod's not changed in years and I doubt they have. Try clearing your user config. files, including the MCM ones. Keep backups.

Issues with 2 mods that used to appear in the Mod Menu (as of February). They aren't listed in the menu anymore.
- [WOTC] Enable Reinforcements for any Mission
- [WOTC] Configure Avenger Defense XCOM Reinforcement

I think "Allow for Larger Squad Sizes" might also have been present in the mod menu before, but not anymore.

They are reported as active in the Alternative Mod launcher, but not being recognized in the mod menu.

Any ideas about the cause of this?

It's work on XCom 2 Collection Mobile, even only slider option can't be adjusted, but it's working fine..

And @Dragon32 is a Hero, you always help us to answer when the owner isn't here..

I can't imagine how much mods do you have..

If you can get to the menu this mod creates but the ability to configure a particular mod isn't there then the problem's with how that particular mod has configured things.

I turned off all mods except for this and a single soundtrack mod that claims it requires this one.
When I go to 'mod settings', the UI window is completely empty. I've tried many combinations of mods, including enabling the legacy version and even the 'Music Modding System' at the same time. What am I missing?

Ah... after looking at that screen shot for a few mins ... then I seen it... LOL I'm slow. ><

Hello. I have questions. To start off, I can't get your Mod to work. So maybe I am clueless or just blind, or something is just not working.

Questions:
1. If the mod was working right, where would the MCM screens be located?
2. Is there a Hotkey or special code to get the MCM to open up?

I ask these questions because MCM is a needed mod for the Long War of the Chosen. It works, and the AML shows that I'm good with the needed mods.

3. Is there some way to get the mod to work? I mean your mod is not the only mod not working there are a few. Mostly all the cosmetic mods I picked and any weapon mods, don't work for me. LOL

So I uninstalled all 100 plus mods and started with 22ish mods to see if I could get them working right. (No luck. ><)

A mod's author needs to specifically include MCM functionality into their mod, it's not automatic.

so i installed this everything seems good but when i go to mod setting theres only one mod that pops up when i have like around 20 am i doing something wrong?

Is the Mod Config Menu same thing as [WotC] Mod Config Menu?
I only have subscribed to [WotC] Mod Config Menu but it shows I have only Mod Config Menu and everything crashes.

Having a obscure bug, for some reason the tool tips don't show up when I am hovering over options in only the Mod Config Menu. They still work in base options.

Run the game using a mod manager. Works fine for me after doing so.

I did the raiders marauders covert op on Commander difficulty, why on earth were 7 enemies spawning every round??! Utterly insane, ruined the run with a complete wipe. If you hack the objective do they stop? Didn't get chance to try needed every shot to try and slow them down

I've had [WotC] Better Cost Strings for awhile and no such crashes.

MCM has incompatibility with this mod "[WotC] Better Cost Strings" that will cause your game to crash on next load if you open MCM

I've started getting CTDs with MCM anytime there's a loading screen, but only after I've accessed MCM in game. Playing with LWotC. Never used to have this issue.

Hi Jess, it depends on which version of the game you are playing. LW2 is based on the base game, so I would recommend trying the legacy version first.

Hi, ive seen many mods for LW2 which advise to use this mod or require this mod instead of the legacy version is this correct? Or should i be using the legacy version for Vanilla/LW2 regardless of what the mod advises? Cheers.

Hey Messenja, this mod does not touch saves by itself, so I would first guess that your crashes are coming from a mod that uses MCM for configuration (this is the most common source of crashes and glitches tied to MCM). If you're trying to find the culprit mod, I'd recommend disabling half of your mods at a time to figure out which one might be causing issues.

Hey Räzz, controller support is a "maybe" - a fellow modder was kind enough to propose a set of changes to add controller support, but there was some divergence in the code that was proposed and the mod itself, and I haven't had time yet due to personal stuff to merge the two.

I have enabled it in the launcher, after a post on reddit i was directed to a fan made/alternate launcher/mod manager and it works now

hey umm, apologies for asking, and I am not sure if you are even active still, but, i think this mod does not work? like, i look at options and there is nothing. is it due to the launcher being added?

Everytime I manage a mod then save; the moment i start a mission it crashes. None of my other mods have this issue.

Yes. The changes are written to files in your My Games folder. As long as they're there their values will be read and used .

Do changes in mcm persist across playthroughs?
