Its just the spore itself. (spore.mdl) Its a tiny prop so that's probably why nobody has said anything lol. I only figured out a fix since I'm going to be updating the material fix addon soon to remove a bunch of crap that doesn't need to be there, and I figured I'd look into that as well.

wait is the spore launcher actually broken? I don't think anyone told me before

The missing texture for the spore model can be fixed by changing the basetexture value in materials/models/opfor/items/spore/spore_launcher.vmt to "models/opfor/items/spore/spore_launcher".

The texture is there, the material is just pointing to the wrong place.

I tried to extract this for props for a half life source map, but it just comes out as a bin, and when I tried to convert it to a bsp, it's just not working

They don't spin. The original guy who made the prop pack pretty much stripped all functionality from a lot of things. Even the chargers don't have "off" skins.

Hey, I was just wondering; for the generator props, normally the rotor inside them spins, but I can't figure out how to make them "active," or make the rotor spin. Maybe is there a way to get it to work? Whether it's something that you have to do or if it's something that I have to do?

HLS doesn't use props (except in like one case). It's all map geometry. This addon just turns some of that geometry to props.

this isnt actually needed if you have HL:S, right? or did valve fuck it up so much that you literally need an addon to see the props when the game is mounted?

Some maps have no cubemaps which can cause that. Just turn mat_specular to 0

nothing is conflicting, i have had my addons for years but, as of right now the relfections on props for some reason is purple checkerboard.
