Kai Wulf is my favorite german VA, his previous work in film especially in WW2 films during his heyday has made him very good at portraying german soldiers during WW2, I just love the man. he makes me wanna just sit by a fire and listen to him tell me war stories of his time on the front, that's how great of a actor he is, Kai Wulf is what got me into voice acting as a hobby in the first place, it'll be a shame once he's gone but atleast his memory will live on through mods, and games he's been apart of, and naturally his appearances on screen.

After sree years of sniper training, sis voicepack just makes me as happy as i when i was a ungelernter Arbeiter walking around se counteryside for se first time.

Zhakarov, Walker already explained this in a previous comment. He won't be able to use them without someone to translate for him (and that's a LOT of lines to translate), because he doesn't speak German.

Or put in both? No need to get pissy because you don't like English in accents.

Use the german voices version of COH2 , its 1000% much better . Trust me .

Sure thing, all that's left is a couple of panzergrenadier voices, Luftwaffe infantry, and Knight's Cross voice. Not sure if there's enough audio for a pack for these though. There wasn't enough for the officer.

To all that want the German language voices, I don't speak German so that isn't going to work sorry.

As for the Russian units from COH2, as far as I can tell they only recorded a hundred or so lines for each unit compared to COH1 which easily had a thousand lines per.

Thanks, it's going to be a long-term project that's for sure. And I haven't even gotten started on the COH2 Russian accents yet. Hopefully people are still playing XCOM 2 by the time this is all finished.

Silent Storm, totally forgot about that game. Pretty large variety of accents too.

-generic light vehicle voice

Lot of units. Gonna take a while.

As for Italian accents, I would try the Silent Storm series. I know it has a fair bit of lines using an Italian accent. No clue how the file structure is though.

I honestly overlooked that folder since I thought it was the Canadian medic with very few lines. Thanks a lot for the tip, definitely enough audio for a pack.

I just wanted to let you know that I mod CoH1/CoH2, and I know that there are some interesting voice files thrown in here and there.

Specifically as an example, there is a set of lines that were done for the British "Infantry Section" which were done by the Priest voiceactor.

Gives you a nice Canadian infantry feel. :)

Okay, have changed the scope of the mod to include as many infantry units from the first game as can be made into voice packs. Trying to get at least 300 lines per pack. Next unit: Fallschirmjäger.

Dude, taking lines from CoH was genius. You should make some more packs based on CoH and for that matter CoH2

Have you considered doing a captain Martin Walker voice pack? I think that would be particularly fitting for this game.

Do you think you could make a version for the german language audio from CoH? Some of those are really enjoyably vicious while being in real german.

Also, volksgrenadiers and stormtroopers would be great - cynical old guy, and fanatics!
