The 2 cores should both be the exact same kind of core, So 2 murderball cores. This would work because the cores are both on the same faction.

You should add a splitter ship
Basically a ship with 2 cores, each of the cores are connected by a bunch of the dark tendrals
This would create a ship that fires lasers, however when you destroy the lasers, the 2 cores would split and regrow into 2 ships.

Literally just build a ship with 2 cores connected by some sort of block and ur done

you know, these guys could actually pose a serious role as an upgraded version of the Flies. just add beam weaponry and goodbye everything (yes, the Sentinels as well.)

need to be less figitty when standing still they have a tendacy to die sudanly when they meet certain enemy ships like the life is drained out of them

These things are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. It-It's just...Chaos! I mean me and the other murder balls just tore even the plants to shreds. Is there nothing that can stop this faction??! >_< Anyways, I wouldn't mind some weak shields, just to protect from basic missiles and such. Also I wouldn't mind a building block, they're fast and that's awesome but I'd love to make a super big, super tough death machine that can coast across the sky decemating everything in its path. Just a suggestion. :)

I think they deserve some low power shields. They become abolutely uncontrollable if they lose even 1 thruster :/

Weird, I was unable to research a command module in-game, and after making a dual-command-module ship in the sandbox it didn't blow itself up, hm....

So i researched the command modules and tested it.
i fired the main weapons.
both command modules (main, researched) destroyed each other.

I like the murderballs. Why? Because they are also one of the only factions to be able to just melt anything remotely near it. It cant shoot, no, but what fun is that when you can slam into something and maim it?

Mmm which parts? Only the high-tier parts are invisible (and pass-through) so the core is exposed and stronger ships will look menacingly small. Also I wonder if I should've made them an unplayable faction since they're more mysterious that way...
