The butterflies feel very static and lifeless the way they're drawn only at one angle, and the way they move just doesn't look right.

Something bothers me about these butterflies. I don't know the technical reasons for it, but... they looks so cartoonish, so "in the foreground", as if the Spy is an actor in an old movie and the butterflies were painted onto the film material afterwards, like disney used to do before the age of CGI. They just don't blend into the TF2 world.
