The only reason I haven't removed this from the workshop is because is there already a lot of people who have subscribed to it and what not, and I don't want to mess up any existing modlists or dependencies. I suppose I could at least make it hidden, though. I don't even remember why I'm still subscribed to this and not a different addon.
gmod workshop like these -> https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=138374257&searchtext=Grappling+Hook
but there's no barnacle grapple variant out there on the steam workshop so im glad i found this addon with the barnacle variant
I suggest looking at Half-Life Renaissance NPCs instead (which also adds weapons), I have a link to it in the description. I don't agree with some of the things in it (like the penguins and ugly gauss gun), but you may find it more useful.
Try disabling all your other addons and see if it still occurs.
The weapons are a bit more functional and it doesn't conflict with VJ Base, but it has some other stuff you may not want and the gauss gun is horribly ugly. It also has permission, unlike this.
If you want take out the Op4 weapons and upload them separately, go ahead. Hopefully that would at least remove the conflict with VJ Base.
While I would like to make edits and fix some stuff, I don't care enough to do all the work that would be required, especially since the hard drive I had this setup on had been dead for quite some time. If you would like to make changes, be my guest and link to your version here. Otherwise, don't be a broken record.
What a thrilling read it twas
I only made this because I didn't want HL:R's NPCs to override the default ones, but I kind of broke it in the process, not to mention that HL:R isn't exactly bug free.
Really, the only reason this is still public is because none of the other Half-Life weapon mods I know of have a 50 ammo clip for the SMG.
