1st mod. 1000 x blocks. Basically a set of blocks which will build 1000 steel plates, 1000 construction components, 1000 computers, and so on. Bc queing up 100,000 steel plates and 20,000 computers for a large project takes forever
2ng mod. Large area armor blocks. I know you can make HUGE blocks b/c of the super gate in the stargate mod. So i was thinking it could drastically reduce block count and potentialy server lag to have a set of light and heavy armor larg area blocks. for example. 1 block deep by 2 x 2, 3 x 3, 5 x 5, 5 x 10, 10 x 10. And ofc they should be proportionally expensive to build as the same number of blocks. But then if you were building a large platform, wall, or floor in a ship you could drop a 10x 10 block and cover 100 block area. It cost the same but the block count is also 100 x less than normal. It would also take some of the boredom out of placing thousands of individual blocks one at a time.
Actually it is still possible to create them if you use blueprints. Also you'll be able to fire them if you use the block properties (so switching between fire on and off). For a proper solution it'd require to remove them when they are created. As I don't know if you are able to do the scripting I prepared it for you if you want to use it: http://pastebin.com/ksWtHa3g
