...the manifest.txt and objects.png files are folders.
How.
I was asking about the CCTV Arrows mod because it is also uses the objects.png, rendering incompatible with this one, but I was thinking to make a mod like the CCTV Arrows that uses the sprites.png method. The same as the issue with the pipes, the arrows on the cameras will be shown only in the ghost preview, which is actually the only time you need it, but it will make it compatible with other mods that can't use sprites.png, like this one.
You can, but not with every object. I have tried to do it with the pipes with no luck. They use the Rotatetype 0 (which is made for single sprites) but has a single reference to the object, that has several sprites.
Obviously the rotation is not that simple in the pipes, since in most of the other objects you are the one that rotates them, but the pipes rotates themselves, depending on their relation with the adjacent ones, meaning there is some lua script hardcoded that does the math.
If you try to use the sprites.png system with the pipes, the new sprites will only be used for the ghost preview and icons, but no when the pipes are in place. So it can't be overwrite with the modding info that there is available right now.
