I extract them from the actual games themselves. The bad thing about it is that it's pretty time consuming, honestly making the mods is the easy part. Also that example isn't really helpful considering its his voice lines yes but it has all that background noise with it.

If I had the english voice files for him I would do it. As of now I only have Ragna in japanese but on the other hand I have Relius, Valkenhayn & Platinum's english voice files but I don't know if it's worth spending a good amount of time on them since they're pretty niche.

That's not how it works. Having a 'free dlc' isn't the same as having access. Ripping it straight from the game takes a whole lot of time, especially since they don't come in .wav formats so I'd have to convert them all and repackage them. Not just that but note that one character has around roughly 400 or so lines, counting grunts and etc. I then have to filter them and select lines that would more or less suit XCOM, I don't choose any lines such as 'Die Brother!' since it doesn't fit the game and people wouldn't get that reference if they haven't played BB, though I did add a few references for fun's sake.

May I then ask where you got the access to the English voices? I mean, the Japanese voices are available as free DLC on Steam at the very least last I checked. Assuming you are using the Steam-version of the game for the audio-files, that is of course.
Also, just asking, not meaning to nag or anything, sry if it seems that way.

There are many other factors such as the fact that I don't have access to any of the japanese voices which is a pretty major issue. It takes time to listen, select, filter the audio files before even beginning the coding process in the SDK which is something I don't really have the spare time for right now. I currently have a lot on my plate but (not for certain) I may look into it.

Another one here just stating that he would be very happy with seeing Japanese-versions of these BlazBlue-Voice-Mods. But of course, as RINGARD said it's ultimately your choice, especially as you haven't advertised them to ever get a jpn. version at a later time or anything like that either. Nice Voice-Mods either way.

How the heck does this have anything to do with gameplay mods? remove that tag! It's there so we can avoid tons of voice packs while looking for actually useful mods.

I may make one in the future but that's if I have the time and until after I'm done making all my current mods.

I can do japanese voices but I just like the english voices a lot more strangely enough myself. I've just recently released Hazama, I might do Makoto next or any other character whichever is wanted more.
