Yes, FoV is made higher in screenshots. Since default FoV is 51 by Valve (God knows why) so you have to use console and type cl_viewmodelsurvivor to any value above 51.

Are you using a different field of view or something? Lovely gun but for me it takes up almost a quarter of the screen and my character is holding it closer to the face than the regular pistol.
