This mod isn't being maintained any more. It worked using the old fines system that was changed by the developers several years ago.

First i was so happy to have find this mod...then saw you changed the "chances of getting fined". Could you maby seperate it in two mods? :)

Reason for me. I already turned off getting fined for speeding(by police cars), because they fine you so more often then in real life. BUT for me it is not ok, to decrease the Car Crash fine...because in real life you will get fined every time you crash a car (if in the crashed car is i driver present, who could call the loice).

I have no idea, but this is quite an old mod. I haven't maintained it and it doesn't work properly with the new fine system anyway. I would try a different mod.

why does this not work in convoy mode?

@chittyrim: It's aimed at players who are at a high level and using the default economy. When I got to high levels in the game I found that there was no incentive to stick to the traffic rules. Why worry about getting a €550 speeding fine when you will make 100 times that much money from the delivery?

The mod is harsher than I'd originally intended because I made it before SCS made the fines scale with your level, but I don't want to make any major changes now because there are almost 2000 people subscribed to it who may not welcome major changes.

I might do another one based on feedback at some point.

I use DP's Realistic Traffic (http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=714317786) because it increases the traffic and improves the AI. The AI still doesn't deal with roundabouts very well and still sometimes does other stupid things as well but it's definitely an improvement over vanilla.

i would like to see that the AI cars busses and trucks dont just drive out in front of you so you crash directly into them.
i dont have any mods that change the police thingy og the ai driving thingy.
so how do you change the AI so they dont drive with their ego out in front of you.?

I'd like to see progressive fines for speeding, like 0-5kmh $0, 5-10kmh $500, 10-20 $2000, 20+ $5000. Is this possible to implement?

I like this idea but if you are going to make the speeding fine that unrealistic you need to seriously lower the probability percentage WAY down. Not just 10%. I DO like this mod for the fine amounts for Car Crash, Avoid Sleeping, Wrong Way, No lights. Those numbers are realistic. But speeding and red light tickets are never that much unless reckless driving is added to the charges. Usually a speeding ticket is about €200-350 for truckers. Going through a red light is about €150 for a first offence and €350 for getting caught doing it again and again. So the default number for Red Light Violations is about right. When it comes to Fine Mods, I wish someone would only change the speeding fines (default is too high) and raise the amount for Car Crashes (default is way too low).

I think there are one or two mods out there that do that already. The purpose of this one is to increase the consequences for breaking the traffic rules. You will only get fined for speeding if you pass a speed camera (the random fines are disabled) so just keep an eagle-eye out for speed cameras. :)

can you make one that decreases the chance of being fined for speeding to 0% b/c it is B.S. in this game
