You have to play as the countries yes.

Do you have to play as the countries during World War 2? Are they just songs for when you play with Japanese, German, Italina and French cultures? Or should it be music that plays regardless of timezone or culture?

@CrowdControl The german music should play if you are a german culture country and a fascist dictatorship, the music is all a giant file so i guess it will allways play until it ends and then it will play standart music or start again.

The Horst-Wessel-Lied was never the German National Anthem.
It has been called the 'inofficial German Anthem' and that is exactly what it is.
Deutschlandlied was Germany's National Anthem from 1919 til now and even throught the 3rd Reich.

Portugal was a nationalistic one party right wing republic at the time so it has plenty nationalistic music. Also spanish nationalist music is very well know as well like the hymn of the blue legion that fought the comunist in the eastern front in a crusade against atheism. Also the hymn of the Falangistas.

Vitality, I never denied Stalin or Mao as bad, I merely said that Hitler was worse. Were Mao and Stalin bad? Yes, they were. Zire, sadly, that's true. And I certainly believe the Treaty of Versailles was too harsh, but it doesn't really excuse anything that Hitler did.

Can I ask when exactly does the track start? Or is it random? Like do I have to play between 1939 til 1945 to get the tracks or can I start with Brandenburg 1444? And do I have to be a specific culture or can I listen to the tracks as Poland? And last but not least replaces this mod the other music entirely (even the DLC music) or is it "normal EUIV music - Panzerlied - EUIV music"?

Im only entering the tail end of this argument but i think i believe Hitler and Mao were somewhat in the same league both being considerably worse than Stalin. But its important to note that Hitler in many ways was a typical German statesman in that he was highly expansionistic and pursued the idea of lebensraum, both very typical traits of german thinking at the time. He really embodied the german sense of outrage at the treaty of versailles which they viewed as unfair. In fact many of hitlers early conquests can be seen as somewhat justified for example the annexation of Austria, outer checkslovakia and prussian poland all three being primarily german speaking.

Sorry, but you're actually in the wrong here. Stalin and Mao were pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad, and you're completetly both ignoring the facts, aswell as misinterpreting from a very fundamental standpoint the other side. Litterally dismissing all other argument as merely " Tought them to hate communists ". You clearly have no acedemic prusuit, you're just imposing without really tackling the issue.

That's your opinion, and a very controversial opinion at that, so it has no basis in an argument. Hitler enslaved people just because he didn't like them, started a war of annihalation against the Soviet Union, pillaged and burnt the Soviet countryside, ended up causing the deaths of potentially 70 million people, all over pseudo-science.

Hitler's regime was based on genocide, blind hatred, etc etc and resulted in the worst war in human history.

Obv no mention of Hitler starting WWII. Then I have to add that I never mentioned anything remotely to do with Mao Zedong, so dunno why you bring him up. And at least China became strong, whereas Germany got invaded.

2) Hitler started WWII over these reasons, which ended up killing 40-70 million people.
3) Swastikas now represent Nazis in the west. This is a fact.

DarthMarshmallow is right, the most a Swastika will do is prevent this from being uploaded to the Paradox Forums and have this mod censored in Germany.

Swastikas are not against the workshop, there are many mods here which change the flag to swastika or feature the swastika.

If you were worried about Workshop rules against Swastikas, you wouldn't of used that thumbnail image. Just saying

I'll change it next update. I could of used the Nazi flag, but I was worried about Steam workshop rules regarding emblems of that sort.

that flag is really wrong. If you were going for the Imperial German flag to substitute for the halkenkreuz one, the black bar is at the top and the red at the bottom.
